Well that point of this blog is to show my attempts and share a little slice of my week with people in their teens or anyone who enjoys  information on personal finance. While at school or in my spare time my mind seems to wander to the world of finance; I want to educate myself about personal investments and I hope to one pursue a degree in finance and masters in business administration.  Those goals are a few years away but in the meantime I need an outlet where I can keep track of my goals, my hobbies, things I learn, ect… ect…

I just turned seventeen so technically my logo is a bit off but due to my procrastination it may be a while before it changes. I do like to thrift shop and I enjoy writing in my spare times, besides that my life my right now revolves around AP classes and trying to have a semi enjoyable social life. Well enough with ranting about school here are my goals for this year.

> Grow my savings which currently sit around $2000

> Work on investing a chunk of my money into stocks and make a portfolio.

> Try to open my own business or get a part time job (really hoping to make my own business though)

These are my goals for now, well the more general ones. Everything I learn this year will be posted to this blog, so as I inform myself you can learn something too. Here is to a year to grow a penny at a time
